1. General Overview
Chelsea’s Rentals provides short-term rental of baby and mobility equipment to customers in and around Central London. By placing a booking, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking & Payment
All bookings must be made through our website or an approved partner platform.
Full payment is due at the time of booking
A refundable security deposit may be required for certain items.
For high-value items or bundles, Chelsea’s Rentals may place a pre-authorised hold on your card.
Payment can be made via Stripe, PayPal, or other approved payment processors.
Payment holds will be released within 5 working days of return unless additional charges apply.
3. Delivery & Collection
We deliver and collect within Central London and surrounding areas.
Standard delivery hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Urgent or out-of-hours requests may incur a surcharge.
Customers must inspect the equipment on delivery and notify us immediately of any issues.
4. Equipment Use
All equipment is cleaned and safety-checked prior to each rental.
You agree to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and in a safe, responsible manner.
Items must not be altered, disassembled, or loaned to third parties.
5. Refundable Deposits & Payment Holds
Certain rental items — especially high-value gear such as SNOO bassinets, mobility scooters, and travel bundles — require either a refundable deposit (typically between £25–£75) or a temporary payment hold on your card.
Deposits will be refunded within 5 working days if the item is returned in clean, functional condition with all parts.
If a payment hold is used, it will automatically expire without charge unless damage or late return occurs.
6. Loss, Damage & Cleaning
Normal wear and tear is expected. However, you are responsible for any loss, theft, or significant damage.
Excessive soiling requiring deep cleaning may result in a cleaning fee of up to £50
Security deposits, if charged, will be refunded within 5 working days of return, minus any applicable fees.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental start date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
No refunds are issued for early returns unless the item is faulty or recalled.
8. Car Seat Accident & Replacement Policy
If a rented car seat is involved in a vehicle accident, you must notify us within 24 hours.
The car seat must be returned and may not be reused.
You may be responsible for the replacement cost. We will supply a replacement if available.
All rented car seats are registered with the manufacturer and inspected after each use.
9. Liability & Disclaimer
Chelsea’s Rentals is fully insured for public and product liability in the UK.
We are not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment.
Customers use all rental equipment at their own risk and should supervise children at all times.
10. Missing or Unreturned Items
If an item is not returned or returned damaged beyond repair, the customer will be charged the replacement value.
This will be deducted from the deposit or invoiced directly if no deposit was taken.

12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
