Show Us Your London: Help Us Build an Accessible London Guide for 2027

Customer on a mobility scooter by the London Eye

In the first quarter of 2027 we will publish a guide to the most family-friendly and mobility-aid-friendly places in London. It will be written from real experiences: the photos and tips our customers send in through our Show Us Your London competition.

Why we are making this guide

We are often asked questions that general guidebooks rarely answer. Which museums have lifts that work well with a scooter? Can you take a pushchair on a busy bus at lunchtime? Where can you stop for a rest near the Christmas lights?

The people who know best are the families, carers and travellers who have already done it with a wheelchair, mobility scooter, rollator or pushchair. Our guide will collect that knowledge in one place, so the next visitor can plan with confidence.

How the competition helps

Every entry is a first-hand account of getting around London with our equipment: a Tube journey, a black cab, a favourite park, a museum, or simply your hotel lobby. The most useful tips will be featured in the guide, credited to your first name unless you tell us otherwise.

As a thank-you, we pick one winner every month from October to December 2026. Each winner gets their rental cost refunded, up to £100.

How to enter

  1. Rent any mobility aid or baby equipment from us between 1 October and 31 December 2026.
  2. Take a photo of your item in use, wherever your day takes you.
  3. Write 50 to 150 words about that journey or place: what it was like, what worked well and what to watch out for.
  4. Send it by WhatsApp to +44 7880 152221 or email [email protected], with your name, booking reference and the month you are entering for.

Entries are judged on how clearly they show the item in use, how useful the tip would be to another visitor, and how original the place or experience is. Read the full competition details and terms.

What happens next

We will gather the winning entries and the most helpful tips over the winter, then publish the guide in the first quarter of 2027. If you are visiting London before then, we would love to see where you go.
